I hope you all had a great holiday! I'd like to let you all know my writing plans for this year, which are all tentative at the moment, but seem to be solidifying with each passing week.
First, in the next few months, Starlight fans can look forward to the second book in the trilogy, Starbright, which primarily focuses on a deepening intimacy between Beth and Aidan, but includes lots of surprises for all of its principle characters.
Later in the spring, I have a new novella (it's just about novel length) that's more in the vein of my Gilded Cage story. It's called Slip Away, and it explores the challenges faced by a wildly successful female singer-songwriter as she struggles with fame and the complications it imposes on a blossoming relationship with a member of her favorite rock band.
None of my work so far has included very much humor, which is something I wanted to showcase in a short story collection called Alexandra Richland's Threesome. The title is suggestive and for good reason - the stories are all of an erotic nature, but quirky and humorous, too. That should be out mid-summer.
Lastly, fans of Frontline will be pleased to know that Trenton, Sara, and the gang have gotten themselves into an enormous amount of trouble on a humanitarian mission abroad. I aim to have the currently unnamed Frontline sequel delivered sometime in the fall.
I'm also trying to find space on the calendar for the release of the third part of The Starlight Trilogy, Stardust, but I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself here!
Thank you, everyone, for all your continued support. Hold on to your e-readers, it's going to be a very exciting year!
Yours in epub, mobi and print
